The Original Color Magic

I love this girl! I can remember the first time I laid eyes on her ( well a color magic doll) I was very interested in this doll whose hair could change color. I pined over her for years and finally got into a financial situation where I could afford one. She was a mint torso that was readily available at the time, over the last few years the numbers seem to have really decreased. The first thing I did was change her hair of course. Which FYI can be easily done with a simple mixture of baking soda and water, vinegar changes her hair to yellow. =-) She wears Sea-worthy with a mommy made purse.  Can you believe that color magic dolls were not that popular upon their initial release?

The Lovely Lou

My latest project is the lovely Louboutin Sculpt, she has been re-rooted with this fun shade of Color Magic Red. I have had the idea of using a bright and funky color on her for awhile. This one will be for my personal collection. She wears the Sintara suit jacket, one of the most verstile pieces from mattel in a while.

Jumping Right In

No better way to start then to jump right in. This blog is for those that want to know what is going on in my doll obsessed mind! There will be plenty of pictures and projects shown here. If you enjoy following my flickr account then you are in for more of the same!  I am always working on some new project so stay tuned!
